Oh sorry guys I missed the part were it said FRONT!! my bad. And I did NOT comment on a product I have NOT never used before. FYI , Like I posted I USED THESE IT MY JEEP & HAD AN AXLE WRAP PROBLEM DID U EVEN READ MY POST?? love it when people jump others sh#t & think they dont know anything...:blah::blah:ointlaugh:
Some things to consider when running a shackle kit are;
In order to gain the effective lift, the shackle needs to be double the length. In this case, 2" lift requires a 4" longer than original shackle.
This drop will rotate the the pinion down quite a bit and make the driveshaft angle more severe.
The same rotation of the pinion affects the caster angle as well.
A hanger/shackle lift is much better way to go about what you are wanting to do.
I plan to run one someday and get them from stealth. I hate my 6in deavers and am going back to 4in bds springs with these hangers. Jeep springs are super soft and flexy to begin with and when you put them on stilts its gonna wrap like crazy. Our trucks take it a lot better.
Will these ride alot better then the mini spring pack lifts? I've got the mini spring packs on mine and it seems to be riding rougher lately and I was thinking about taking them out and going with something similar to these. Would it be worth it to change them out?
What should all be changed with a kit like this. I've already got a 4" block in the rear. Is there anyway to lift the back 1/2 to 1" without a new block? right now my truck sits pretty level maybe a little higher in the front and would like it to sit a little higher in the back.
im not sure how you would lift it that much more without a diff block... you could go with a 5" block.. you could also possible find a 1" block but then your stacking blocks...
Raul thanks for helping me on this. If I got a setup like this on the front do I need to change anything else with this? I know that I've seen where you have to have a different track bar or something?
nope this kit will come with everything you need... now there are other things i could recommend like longer shocks.. this setup with some bilstien 5100's would make the truck ride better...
