should be 3" on the ic pipes and but i think the one coming off the comp side of the turbo is smaller. ill check when i go out to the shop. i havent looked at a stock set in awhile lol
why does everyone say that? do you guys thing outside of the box at all? a silicone boot, is a silicone boot. why spend $60 per boot, when they can be had for less than $10 each.
i appreciate it. i cant grasp spending that. we have turbo race cars, that are not ridged boots nor is the pipe bead rolled, never had a problem.
i cant see why it wouldnt work on our trucks. i also will be doing a CCV mod/delete thing in the next few weeks. that should keep alot of the oil out of the charged side.
I found a place that made a silicon 45* boot that went from a 2.5" to 3.5" (Banks intercooler)
The problem, is that they make them so short, there isn't enough room to clamp onto the boot before the transition down to 2.5".
Google Frozen Boost.
im with ya whay pay 100 for the 1 45 deg boot off the turbo. i replaced all 4 of mine for 100. think the website was extremepsi.com they had a bunch of colors and sizes
