4.5 inch to 5 inches of backspacing is usually what is recomended for the leaf sprung trucks. It depends on how far you want the tires to stick out too.
On the leaf-sprung front-ends, anything greater than 4.5" bs will risk rubbing on the leaves with wide afertmarket tires. 35x12.50's on 18x9's with 4.5" bs should be perfect for your application.
