Let me just Start this by saying, I'm really not interested in hearing how much someone hates lowered 4x4's or how much of waste you think it is to lower one.
I'm interested in seeing pics of lowered 4x4 superduties, 4x4's only. Anyone else besides Pahrump have one?
i went with 24s and im running 305/35/24 coopers. i like them. alex i have a djm rear lowering kit here at my shop. it has hangers and shackles brand new in box i didnt need it. here are some pics of mine. -2 front -4 back.
Yeah I actually talked to him. He said the white one rides terrible. I like the other one but the 24's are a little big for me. Plus I cant imagine 24" tire prices!! lol
well i guess i posted for nothing lol. Yea, if i remember right on what he told me he did, the white one didnt drive nice on the road at all. Some 20's would be pretty sweet IMO. I would never go bigger than 20s on anything though, just not my style. I have 16s on my truck right now
TO keep the thread going and to support the idea of lowering a 4x4 which I think is great. I lowered my F350 2" in the rear only by swapping for F250 blocks. No need for such an ass high stance. I load motorcycles and use the truck for work. Factory height is just too high. So...
How can you even lower the front end of a leaf sprung truck?
So you are the same as a F250 now. That's the difference between a F250 and F350 is the block, and in 2005+ they came with 18" wheels instead of 17's in base package.
I'm just curious how close the front diff is coming to the oil pan on those. Thats the only thing steering me away from doing that to mine since mine does see a little bit of off road from time to time
Just the back is lowered like the truck above, except 2" instead of 1" since I just pulled the whole 2" block out. I wanna add an inch to the back now though so it sits more level. Looks like the front sits just a hair higher in the front on mine than the rear. I don't know though, kinda looks level in the pics, lol.
people always judge me for lowering my Chevy ....till they find out I am paralyzed and it makes my life easier, I want to do the same to my Superduty as it is simply easier to get in and out. people have their reasons for wanting to lower, I never get why people gotta be so dogmatic you can only go one way.
Lower it, paint it pink, hang a set of balls from the receiver, who cares. You paid for it.
