i just upgraded my gears to 4:56 and i got 38" tires on my 2000 excursion with 7.3 psd.
i got a DP-Tuner chip but i want to recalibrate my speedo so the shifting and speedo i right. I was looking at the Superlift Tru-Speed. seems to be good how to you calibrate it tho and will it work for 38" tires? someone told me it will only do up to 35" tires.
what else have you guys used to calibrate the speedo, beside expensive handheld programers?

do you have stock gears aswell?

That's the way I went/am going ( tires aren't on yet). Makes much more sense than spending money on the truspeed and getting nothing but speedo correction. For a bit more you now have a complete scanner and data logger etc.
