Thought I'd give this thread some life.
How many of you Diesel nuts in here own or have owned a Ford gas powered truck? My first truck was a 94 XL Heavy Duty F150 4x4 5.0L that was a Dog Catcher truck converted into a pickup. It got used & abused, finally sold it to help pay for my IDI. In al truth I don't really miss it because it had alot of issues but it would get from point A to point B.......most of the time!
Only thing I should have saved from it was the Unity Spotlight, that thing was great for late night wheeling!

With Homemade bumper, it was an experment.............

Right before I sold it, took the camper off of my IDI & put it on there.

Had a 90 Ranger custom, wish I never got rid of her........And I have a 89 Eddie bauer edition Bronco II........2.9 is being rebuilt, guy we bought it off didnt change the oil for over 40000km..........It still ran though :ford:

Ones that I want
55 Ford F100 with a 351 Cleveland
Or a 67 Fastback mustang with a 427SO..........:D

I would trade one testicle for either of those two :ford:

93 f150 regular cab shortbox with the straight 6 and a 5 speed manual. No clue if I will like it or not, talked the inlaws out of it as it was just sitting in a field from the fuel pump going out :D

Outside of it needs painting, interior looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor. Grey with burgandy interior.

1977 F100 4x4 with 351 modified, homemade bumper, automatic trans, rollbar with the lights. I use this to push down buildings, push down trees and general carnage. Fun truck. Automatic.

First truck was a 83 F250 reg cab, 2wd, had the 300 straight 6 and t-19 4-speed with granny low. Was a nice old truck my father and I restored to be my first vehicle.

My first car and first Ford was a 1984 Mustang HB, Second was a 95 Mustang, Third was a 99 Taurus, Fourth was98 F150 Reg cab LB 2WD, Fifth was a 04 F150 SCrew 4X4, Sixth was 00 Taurus. Still own the 00 Taurus. Had both the 98 and 04 F150s for about a month till I found the 00 Taurus. I guess you could call the 2004 Mazda Tribute a Ford since it shares the same platform with an Escape. I also owned a 2000 Mazda MPV van that used the Ford 2.5 V6. I've owned quite a few vehicles in my short driving career.

i had a 91 4dr 1ton chevy 2wd 350 4spd man. still got it at home in texas.

second truck 87 f-150 302 4spd 2wd sold it with the rings just about gone, and oil pump gone/no oil pressure. dang near sounded like a diesel, but i ran the crap out of it.

third truck was a 2000 f250 5.4 2wd auto. i tell you what, after i had it, i traded it to my dad for my 99 powerstroke. our company abused the crap out of it, and that joker still runs hard!!.

68 f100 360v8 4wd 4spd on the floor w/ 9" rear, and d44 frt. awesome truck. true dual glasspacks.

we had a mid 80's f550 bucket truck with a 429, it caught fire and the cab burned to the ground.

we also got a early 50's winch truck, straight 6 4spd manual doesnt run any more, but we used to use it back in the 50's-early 80's for pulling wire on jobsites.

All I have are gassers except for my Kubota 900 UTV diesel (which gets 96 mpg). I have a 1996 Bronco super clean with 50k original miles, a 2007 Lincoln LT (the wifer's rig), and my pride and joy, a 2008 F-250 V-10. All run good. In the past, I have had so many gas rigs, I would bore you, but the one I wished I had kept was a 1957 International 1 ton, straight 6, 4X4 short narrow bed with a 3 on the tree. I bought it for $300 and it was semi-cherry with 45k on the odometer. I used it for a wood getting truck and sold it in 1980 for $500. My bad.
