Does anyone here run 35's, 4.10's with a 6spd? I'm thinking of lowering my truck to a 4" kit and 35's with 4.10 gears. Just wondering what the rpms are like on the highway. I have 38's and 4.30's right now and rpms at 70 are 2100. Which is what it was stock with 285's and 3.73 gears. I know some people are gonna say it's not worth going from 4.30's to 4.10's. But i want to hear what kind of rpms people are running with this combo. Thanks
I did not run this combo but did the math to see what it would be. With 4.10 gears, 35 inch tall tires, and a ZF6 you will be cruising 2000 rpms @ 70.5 mph. It is almost exactly like running stock tires and 3.73s. I run 68 mph with 3.73 gears and stock tires at 2000 rpms.
Using the 3.73 gears, I went from the stock 31s to 33s and then for a long while with 35s. When I had to replace my differential i re-geared to 4.10 and got 37s. I never ran te 35s with the 4.10.
Yeah i tow a 20ft bass boat every weekend in the summer. Also a Jeep cherokee off and on. If i didn't tow anything i would use 3.73.
