Here's our JD 620 with a locked up motor... It was my grandpas, sour deal. Bought it running, but he had left water in it over the winter and cracked a head or block, don't know which yet...
Here's our 180 Allis Chalmers. I'd like to put it in the 6500 NA class, it has a 359ci limit. I think it would do fairly well, just it has Allis's famous portal rear axle.
And this is our JD 4320. It doesn't have the loader on it anymore. 9500 original hours still pushing 150 hp. This was my dad's first tractor. He sold his Corvette so he could by this. Paid about $8500 for it back in 1986 (year I was born), still worth all of that and then some now.
Also in our shed is a Farmall M and a International Cub
I was going to post to ask if you were from iowa then i noticed it in your info, looks like every farmers' machine sheds in the small farm town that i grew up in, in northwest iowa
I love my Allis'. This one was my Grandpas and my Aunt got it when he died it broke down and hte idiot let it in the weeds so i bought it for 150 bucks and took it apart turns out a rocker arm support broke and a valve met a piston.
That's a beauty.. Your 110 has more quality in one front wheel than anything they build today.. I have a 185, nothing special but I wouldn't sell it for no money..
Here is grandads Allis. its a 67 model i believe. He bought it in 1970, hopefully it stays in the family when its time to split stuff up. I will be up there next weekend, i'll get some better pics then.
After my dt conversion is done in my EX I am thinking about picking up an old tractor and doing a dt360 in something smaller for fun. You guy's all have some nice rigs!
I have enough to keep me busy when I want to play with them. Honestly I think I will be cutting the collection down by 20+ tractors over the course of the next year - too many to maintain and enjoy. But enough to say that you would be hard pressed to find a more complete set of 30 series tractors anywhere.
we got this in the fall of this year. its a 2008 stx 535, before this we had a 2003 stx 450 with tires. the 450 had so much more power especially down low, that this higher hp tractor seems very under powered in comparison. the reason being emissions. the only benefits are less soil compaction and a much smoother ride the second time over. all in all i like the early stx's much more. but atleast it looks cool:doh:
