I've been thinking about doing a BDS 4-inch lift, but I really want to know what they look like with diffrent tire and wheel sizes. I love the BMF Novakane wheels, but they don't offer them in a 18 so does anybody have a picture of 35s wrapped around a 20in wheel?
Well thanks for all the advice I'm gona go with the BDS 4 inch lift or the icon 4 inch lift any suggestions? And I'm going to go with 37s nitto trail grappler on 20 inch novakanes.
You will need at least the BDS 6" or Icon 4.5" with TEI spacer with the fender wells pulled back and the front bumper brackets removed to clear the 37's. PM me if you would like the pricing on it or if you have any other questions.
ive heard a lot of good on bds and they used to offer lifetime warranty i believe... setup will look great!! make sure to post up some before & after pics!!
I actually called the guys at truck toys and spoke with a sales representative. He told me that it would be fine to run 37s on a for inch lift and i specifically asked about the tires rubbing. I dont really know what to think but ill find out in about a month.
Whoever you talked to misinformed you, previously on the 08-10 you could clear 37's on the 08-10's with a 4.5" kit, but with the 2011's you need a minimum of a 6" to clear them without rubbing.
I have 37's on my 2011 F-350 CC LB with stock suspension. they are cooper's 37x12.50 on 17 inch XD's with 0 offset, the only thing that rubs is the radius arm on driver side just enough to scuff the paint. ive had it flexed out on hills turning the wheel and no rub. i just got started on this site a couple days ago, will put pics up soon when the rain stops and i wash my truck
Do you have any other pictures of your truck some clearer ones, I have a red 2012 and I'm really liking yours it just looks tuff. Also is there any off set on ur rims.
these last pix of the white ford is exactly how I want mine to sit! tall enough to run a front mud flap and not rub...anyone know how he got 3.5" of lift? I believe is what it said he had on it somewhere.
i have a carli pintop 2.5" lift with 22x11 on a 35x12.5x20....little rubbing..wondering if i could raise it another inch it might clear. im also buying a 20x9 to hopefully run a duratrac 325/60/20 in the winter. also hoping to add a front mudflap without any RUBBING issues
The 20x9 will more than likely fix your problem, since most agressive offsets in that size are 0, and more commonly +20. These will tuck the wheel/tire in more and make more clearance when turning.
getting 0 offset 5" backspace I believe it is...also ordered a TEI 1" spacer...im working out of country at the moment but when I get back im gonna do some measuring and purchase some winter tires...maybe buy a 1.5" front spacer and throw a 4" block in the back?
I would like to get another inch in the rear susp if I add 1" to the front..this will also give me enough lift to add the carli long travel rear air bags
