My truck is an 05 and I'm planning on running 35s and I kinda want to do a 2 or 2.5 lift. I was wondering what kits you guys have had the best luck with. I'm sure there are other threads but I'm kind of in a rush as I'm getting tires ASAP. Thanks for the info sn:
You might want to talk to the people doing the lift and tell them what type and size tire you will be using. You also need to tell them what size your rim is going to be. The amount of lift and type will depend on this.
Hey Dan, I have a question. What kind of feed back are you guys seeing with the 6" RCS lift. It looks pretty simple to install. Does it ride nice? is there an option to get 6" rear leaf springs also?
I have an 05 that needs to be a little taller. right now I have a 2" leveling kit in the front, running 35's.
Some of the kits I have seen are blocks and bolts for the rear American spacers and hardware for the front. Will I need anything else to complete the install? Will the stock shocks and steering parts work?
I would recommend longer shocks. For a spacer setup, I like the BDS as the spacers bolt under the coil to the axle and it includes new shocks and caster cams.
Beyond that, a adjustable trac bar is a nice upgrade but not "necessary" for install of the system.

I used stock shocks on my Truxx 2.5" kit,Some of the kits have shock extensions.IMO you will be fine with just the spacers and a little bigger rear block I never had a issue runnin them this way.
