I don't think I'd call that the socal look. I see alot more wanna be prerunners than trucks that look like that. But I don't live in orange county or la county so I'm not their all the time.
im runnin 40/15.50 22's now on 14 in wide rims and my next tire will be a 37/13.50 i like that look, and your trucks is badass...i just moved here to socal from va and from what ive seen, that look was pretty popular on the east coast...like said before, alot of folks here seem to like that pre runner look, i dont like it, but it aint my money, more power to em lol
yea people got their opinions and i got mine. they go a whole more crazy then i have. chroming leaf springs and pretty much anything that can be powdercoated is over ther ha
I just really really do not understand the point of the rim sticking out further than the tire. As far as for looks, to each his own but, 15.50s would look sick.
I think it looks pretty slick. Who'd have thought that there are people out there that don't give a damn about setting their truck up with towing to the max in mind. Keep on doing what your doing man. Long as it works for you.
I'd think people would cut in front of you quite a bit. I know that when I'm driving my car, and pull up behind some yahoo with tires sticking out 3" past the fender, I make dang sure to get in front of him. I don't want to risk getting road debris thrown up on the hood of my car.
Lol, I feel bad for the tire guys that had to try and seat the tire to the wheel. I'd never run it like that but to each his own. I'd be scared to curb the wheel or drop 10-20psi in a tire and have it pop off the rim.
