I have been having problems with my ESOF (Electronic Shift On the Fly). Goes to defrost when I switch to 4wd.
I unhooked the line that goes from the solenoid to the front hubs. I used a hand vacuum pump and pumped it up to 20, and it was still holding at 20 after 10 minutes. So i don't believe I have a leak anywhere in the vacuum lines going from the PVH solenoid to the hubs.
I also capped that same line where it comes out of the PVH Solenoid, started the truck and switched to 4wd. When I did that it switched to defrost again, without the vacuum line hooked up that goes to the hubs. I'm assuming (hoping) that its the PVH Solenoid. I'm going to pick a new one up Monday and see what happens.
Anyone else have any input?
