I just bought a 2000 Ford F-250 that needs a new clutch and pedal feels like may need new slave cylinder. Is the slave cylinder on it an internal unit on the tranny?
Its a whole, filled ,prebled, sealed unit when you buy it
You get new rezzy, lines, master and slave cyls.
The reservour is under the hood... drivers side.... near the firewall
You can see where everything goes by just following those lines.
If you have your clutch out, do yourself a HUGE favor and replace the POS factory pilot bearing with a kevlar bushing.
That little bearing can destroy the whole trans.
