Just bought my first Powerstroke and love it! 2010 F-350 CC SB 4x4. I have a question though... I want to add either a leveling kit or a mild lift. I was told by one reputable suspension manufacturer that since my truck is a 350 with the CAMPER package and i use longer coils to lift the front, I would not see the full advertised lift height since the heavier front springs that come with the camper package already makes it sit higher than a 350 without the package. I have read that a F-250 with the same package sits almost level with the rear but my truck has a noticable rake. i know if i use a spacer kit i would get the advertised lift but, i kinda wanted to go with an upgraded coil to smooth out the ride out front. Any input on this would be appreciated...
I just went with icon on my 250. IT had a camper package and i ran a one inch tei on the front and it was completely level. So i just added the Icon2.5 kit and it rasied it another 1 1/4 or so without the tei spacer. I have some f350 blocks coming next week which will level it out nicely. It may not lift it as much as they say but it will level out the truck.
Thanks for the reply... I was away and unable to see the forum. Mines a 350. Do you think with the 2.5 icon I will be level without messing with the rear or would I need a one inch higher block over the stock 350 block?
By shims, if you are talking about the alignment cams you must use them to get the caster back that you loose as you lift the truck. On the 2.5" kit it is not required to use a adjustable track bar. The Icon springs are a progressive rate spring so the ride is improved over stock.
The ride is awesome int he front. I havent got the rear shocks yet but will soon. I did not go with the trackbar yet.
