If you don't want to get raped on a new one, or put a used one on you can make your own. Maybe bean can chime in since he has heim joints and what not for his steering joints...
that is just a drag link, has no play in your tire alignment (just your steering wheel). we straighten them out all the time. use a press would work best, but using a floor jack and two trucks reese hitches do just find too. go slow so you dont over straighten it. dont use heat or anything like that either, there just steel. the reason i say take it off is so you dont have all that stress on the ball and socket of it.
and like said above, home made ones are easy and chap also. just make sure to use hiems with teflon in them so they dont wear out so fast.
