Does anybody have any input on how to easily get push lock hose on and off of the fittings? Or is it just an overall pain in the but like it seems to be.
It isn't difficult at all. To install simply push on the hose barb fitting, a little spit helps. To remove just cut the hose down the length of the hose barb fitting.
Haha its been a pain the ass every time ive done it. I did cut it to get it off though, that was easy. If you can get to it. Ill try using my spit to lube it up for install.
I used to work with the stuff all the time when I was working for a carwash equipment manufactruing co. We would use silicone spray to lube the hose before install. That was the best way to install the hose I have ever found.
Soapy water, spit, and plain water would also work.
Just pull it off... LOL
And having the hose warm does help a lot in getting it on the fittings.
