I had one several years ago...it was a great fitting hood and the painter said one of the easiest he had ever prepped for paint.
It looked horrible on my lowered truck though so I got rid of it.
They're plastic BTW.
Here is the one I have. You can't see them in this pic but the hood has a really nice taper coming off the ram air toward the back. The draw back is if it rains and your truck is in it. It will trap water because it has vents on top. It is fiberglass so not to bad but mine goes under a roof if I am home but sometimes it gets caught in the rain when not home. It is easy to get out. Just pop the latch and lift the hood.
If you have an air box that seals to the hood and the vents are functional, be careful parking nose high on a hill in the rain, heard of a guy that had his afe box fill up with water, cranked the truck..... GULP. Just a lil fwi jay, but it'll look badass on your truck!!
i bought the cervinis ram air hood at carlisle should be back from paint soon
