I broke one of my lock-out hubs on my 450. I have a stock lock-out laying around so I'll throw that on for now but i want to get something a bit stronger. I can't seem to find one for anything newer than 04. Does any one make a better replacement lock-out hub?
I have been looking around as well and for the 50 series axle under my truck there are a few options. I believe :whs: is correct. Dynatrace makes a good product if you have the moolah.
Not what I wanted to hear but nothing I can do about it. It just sucks because I went to the local fair yesterday to truck pull and looked like a ra-tard pulling in 2WD. The worst part is it only took about 10 min this morning to pull the broken one and replace it with the other lock-out I had.
As a side question, I have a manual t-case so my hubs had a LOCK and FREE position. The spare hub I had has a LOCK and a AUTO position. Will this affect the operation of the hub or does the AUTO act as the FREE position since I don't have ESOF 4X4?
Those auto hubs suck...I dont think it'll work any differently than a regular locking hub if you hace manual 4wd.
