So last night I was cruising with my friends in my truck and I got up next to a newer mustang at a light and he looked up at me and floored it at the green. At the next light I did a boosted launch and kept up with him for a good bit until he eventually pulled ahead. I felt really good that I could keep up with a mustang like that. I know there are alot of people on here with trucks that can run into the 10s and 9s... So like the title says, what have you raced and won against or lost to?
Other diesel trucks a bmw, mercedes vert (He had the top down and was on the wrong side of the truck) it was priceless the smoking he got !! Smoked yuppy is cool

Corvette, bet him.
Mustangs, beat them all. Just haven't met the right one yet.
New Camaro, had him beat until he got tired of playing and just freakin left.
Couple of Dodges, couple of Fords.
An old beat up fugly middle 70's Chevy 1/2 ton. That dude ran right beside for quite a ways. I finally did walk him.
And a DPS cruiser, he begged me to, I had to lift to keep from beating him off the bat. I chickened out when I looked down and the revs were going by 3800RPM's. He was impressed. It is wierd when you find a DPS that wants to play.
I raced a little 4-door ricer last night. I did hear a blow off valve to. I was able to barely keep up on the street. But at the track with a boosted launch, he wouldn't have a chance. But other than that. Not much. Just a duramax that whooped my ass
Last time I had Zion in my rear veiw, I put the DP in 4 and nailed the loud peddle and woa peddle together....yep all that smoke and nothing in the rearview. Bet I get sum chit out of this...but he was the instrutor on that set up!
I raced a T-Top 80's car of some sort, like a trans am or camaro in my lifted 78 Bronco once, we were at a 2 lane stop light and he kept revvin his engine, so I dumped it when the light turned green.
Dunno if he was trying or not, but my big brown Ford was in front when the lanes merged.....
beat a stock 6.0 f350 my buddies 460 f350 few ricers and just about kept up to an srt10 ram. i dont think its too bad for a 99 ram 2500 v-10 with a shift kit.
back when the shortbus was in top form i ran into alot of cars. turbo porsche boxter s, vettes, camaros, rustangs, fire birds, grand nationals, trucks both gas and diesel, etc...
2 races stick out but one is by far the funniest..
I was getting on teh hwy and following behind what i thought was a miata until i caught him on the on ramp. He was being a tool and only driving about 30 mph up the ramp then nailed it as soon as he could merge on the hwy. I was pissed already since he was dicking around on the on ramp so i had the nitrous ready and purged. His eyes were the size of softballs when i rolled up next to him while he was WOT, waved bye bye to him then proceeded to put several car lengths on him. IIRC that car did 5-5.5 sec 0-60 and topped out @ just under 160mph. top end no doubt he would have got me, but the look on his face when i pulled up beside him was priceless. Id bet that yuppie now owns a faster porsche lol.
Torino, Mustangs, 5.9's, Duramax's, Challengers, Civic(LOL), Lightnings, SRT10's, AMG 6.3(moms), Charger(new one), Jeep SRT8. And more but can't remember them all. All those were on the track, nobody wants to play with me on the road LOL
I don't street race. Its illegal. LOL I have played around with some of the local ricers and I do fairly well, and some of the dodge douchers around here now avoid my wife's powerstroke.
Vettes are always the most fun to me, since generally those are the drivers that REALLY aren't expecting it. Coolest thing I can think of off the top of my head that I raced was a Saleen Mustang. I think theSLEEPER has a vid of it. I was all excited to add it to my video collection since I had already seen it run and new I was a decent bit faster. Unfortunately I got a little TOO excited and forgot to put it in 4wd. LOL
Had a good one the other day. Pulled up next to what sounded and looked like a well hopped up 2-4 year old Mustang at a light. Gauges w/ shift light on the dash and all that. Absolute clear road ahead, safe place too. I was too his right which is good for smoke control.
He didn't know we were racing at first so I rolled into it but by the time we were at 20 mph or so everyone knew what was up. I only pulled him 1/2 a truck length up to 95 mph or so. Good close one. I let off and he went 10 lengths ahead instantly.
Less interesting were some kids in a gasser chevy truck on the tollway. I'd turn overdrive off and wait for them to hit it. We did 50 to 100 3x. Each time I'd get him by 2-3 lengths but I was impressed he was so close. Kids gave me a huge thumbs up.
Ran a known hot grey Duramax as well but to be fair we were dealing w/ some traffic. In our two short runs he got taken pretty good though.
I remember Mikey, Garrett, me, and 2 or 3 other people in the orange truck during one of the DHRA Houston Nat'l races. We were heading out to a bar or something and there was a guy in a late 80's early 90's Chevy gasser truck next to us. So everybody pretty much starts yelling out the window at the guy to run while Mikey and Garrett "talk me into" turning the bottle on. That one WASN'T close. LOL Goot times!
I was driving to visit my father in the hospital a few weeks ago and ended up mid pack with a group of about twenty Ferraris. Brand new ones and vintage mixed in on there way to who knows. The group got broke up at a stop light and I was up front next to an older 308. I had to do it...A little boost to get his attention, then I flushed the toilet! Too bad my 6.4 is still stock, but I leapt a couple truck lengths on him and he had to whip that thing a bit to finally get by me. Good times!
I was showing-off in front of an old 1stgen Zr1 with an old pick-up I had. It wasnt fast but it would outrun anything from Detroit in the 80's and 90's. So I'm setting the truck sideways at every stop light taunting him, until we're outta street lights and he passes me like I was cabled to a phone pole. Very humbling. Found out later a Tractor pull engine builder I know built the car, twin whipples on a sheetmetal intake!
I got my butt whipped in the Procharged 6.0 by a 350Z in Houston once. David Lott was actually driving and I was in the passenger seat. David said to look at what was coming up from behind us. It was a SUPER-HOT girl driving a nice lookin' 350Z. We were both at the front of the light. We got on it (not in 4x4) and she got on it. We stayed even for the most part (she was pulling very slightly) until we finally got traction. We started pulling on her pretty good. Got her to just behind my tailgate then she looked like she got shot out of a rocket. No doubt she hit a button. I would've hit mine too but I'm confident her button was significantly larger than mine. I was completely in love. LOL
I have a stock 7.3 with a 6-spd, I just pray stock cars don't get faster so I can still try to keep up with rush hour traffic . . .
