I break it, he fixes it. Inside two years, he pays all shipping, outside two years I pay shipping. I had a perfectly good converter, called him and said i wanted a lower stall converter, the stock level, and sent me one. all i did was pay shipping.
Let me put it this way:
6 weeks after my 2 years was up, I called him because the sprag in the torque converter was slipping. He sent me a torque converter, and all I had to do was send the old one back to him.
OTOH, if you lie to him to get him to do something you think is going to cost you some $$$, he will stand behind his word. But you will be told to not ever show your face around his shop again.

AFAIK, inside 2 yrs, he pays for shipping, outside, you pay for shipping at his rate. Either way, trans is fixed. OTOH, if you drive it over a cliff and crack the case, you might have to pay for a new case but at that point, i suspect you have bigger issues.
Man BTS is the place to go if you need a tranny!!! I have a tranny that was in the truck 140k was down there for some other stuff and he said lets see how its doing I said ok! pulled it out and found that he had changed some parts since mine had been built so he built my tranny with the new parts and all i paid was the price for the new parts!! brand new tranny after almost 6 years of abuse and all i paid for was the new parts that he upgraded! best customer service out there!!!
well lets see i got mine in 97 an i'm pretty hard on my truck only 77### miles on it an on engine number two.. any how.. my trans has been out of my truck three times.. ( AT BTS) Brian tears it apart an looks at things an a few parts are replaced.. usually parts that have been upgraded to something better watching him build an tune a trans is awsome.. i remember my first trip..
he did the trans put it in filled up an we went for a drive.. wow.. then we came back an he dropped the pan an valve body wanted to do some adjustments.. like drilling a hole .002" bigger to improve one of the shifts.. was def worth the money.. my last trip i took a buddy to get his trans..(i'm in calif.. over 1600 miles one way..)
Brian ended up changing the fulid in my trans.. when it was all apart.. thinnk only one upgrade.. everthing else looked fine.. well got home drove a few months weekend toy.. went to the track in AZ didn some really hard runs..(hard enought to twist the front drive shaft) then drove home.. after a week or two.. there was a strange chrip in my trans.. ya broke a sprag in the TQ called an talked to Brian no prob send me a new one an i sent him the old one back.. thats CUSTOMER SERVICE....
I managed to break mine in about 2 months. I dropped it off at a shipping Co. and it was back in 11 days. It was probably with the shipping Co. for 2 days each way and there were two weekends. So he probably only had it for 2-3 days. Brian is the man!
EDIT: and I told Brian what I was doing when I broke it. Lets just say I was breaking a few traffic laws and a bump in the road is ultimately what did the damage.
