I put some 20" RBP wheels on my truck with 35x12.5 Nitto Dune Grapplers and I cant seem to get my Low Tire Pressure Light to come off, is there a way that I can reset for the new pressures or even get the TPMS turned off from Ford?
I have had my 20's on since day one and i have not got the light to come off yet either. Ford says they can't do it. If you find away please let me know. I am use to having the light on or beep at me now. I have almost 14,000 miles on my truck.
Yeah i am getting used to the light being on as well. I know my one buddy with a dmax had his dealer reset it so it doesn't come on so one would think Ford could do it.
I will let you know if I find a way and if you find a way let me know
my ford dealer did it for me twice when mine went off with aftermarket wheels and tires, i dont see why they are saying they cant??
it requires an electronic tool and you have to pump the brakes, turn on the key then off and something else before it resets. then the tiny unicorn comes out of your tire
boy you guys' dealerships are harsh, i just brought my truck in f-150 and my dads f-250 both aftermarket wheels not put on by dealer and they come and do it in 5 minutes or less
my low tire pressure light came on last night... checked all the tires and thought it might have just been because it cooled down a lot. checked again this morning light was still on and all the tires had between 50-55 but i saw max cold was 80 so i put about 72 in the fronts and 64 in the rears... lights still on though??
The snesors are out of my stock wheels. and there is nothing that can reset them, no one make after market sensors for the truck yet either.
