The Ford is a F-450 which means 4.88 gears. The dmax was a 3500 which means 4.10 and the dodge might of been 4.10s and maybe the 3.55s. Still its a pickup available as is from deal as a tow machine so yes I would say its for real.
I'm not knocking Ford at all but I cannot see the top video being legit. It looked like the dodge was coming to a stop almost. As for the Chevy, I've got an LBZ along with my 05. I know the 05 isn't the 6.4 but the LBZ blows the 05 out of the water towing. Unloaded MPG is another story. As for the turning radius vid, I can attest to that. The Chevy turning radius is horrid. Again, not tryin to start anything, just giving my opinion
No driving a truck with a Dana 60 and leaf springs makes for a horrible turning radius. The 6.4 is a F-450 which means it has 4.88 gears in it and the dodge may of had the 3.55 gears. Either way the Ford still won and those were all the largest pickup trucks the Big 3 offer.
put that 450 up against a 350 it would also beat the 350 no problem towing with the 450/550s is amazing we have 2000 550 its towing power compared to my truck or my brothers 04 350 doesnt even compare btw 450/550 were only offered in 4.88 and 5.33 gearing iirc
I think these are the videos Ford used on their site to promote the 08 before it came out, I remember watching the turning radius one. BTW, you only get that turning radius if you have a 4X4 Dually with the "wide track" front end...
Man I am die hard FORD but the video is BS. The ford is 08 or newer I can't tell for sure and the dmax is 05 I am guessing and the dodge who cares its a dodge
