My f250 is lifted 5~6 " .. My ride is stiff. I'd like tos soften it. will putting new dual shocks on all four corners help soften it? and where can I find a set?
What shocks do you have now. Bilsteins are about the best shock you can get from what I've read, but they are somewhat pricey. I got dual shocks up front, pro comp 9000's and the ride is pretty dang good.
Duals won't make the ride softer, ans as said Bilsteins are IMO the best for the $$. It could be also that its your springs that are killing the ride quality..If I can help or get you prices PM me.
I have found with past experience lifting a few of my trucks that if I made the front of the truck a touch higher than the back then the truck rode harder. I could well be wrong but when I brought the rear up higher I figured a little more weight transferred to the front axle and helped tame strong front springs. Is your truck higher or lower in front?
