A friend of mine bought a used 6" BDS lift that was on an excursion, we are planning on putting it on a 2000 SD. He called BDS before buying it and they said it would work. Well I guess work and lift it correctly are 2 different things
apparently putting the front spring pack on a SD will only give you 4" and the rear 6". has anyone ever ran into this? what are the options for getting 2" more out of the front
haven't put it on the truck yet, just want to try figure it out before we do.
the SD currently has a 3.5" hanger & shackle kit on it. If we take that off we have 4" with the springs, or leave it on 7.5" with both kits. looking to get 6" max. He pulls a gooseneck and don't want to go to tall
even though i drive a 05 and not a 2000 i still pull with ease and no issues with my 8.5' lift and 38" tires and thats stull pulling my 32' gooseneck trailer. Just thought id throw that in there
