I will be there along with some friends. Most have dodges and a couple fords, hopefully a new '11 will make it with us.
As long as my truck stays together this year and doesn't blow a tranny a week before. I will have a few new goodies on the truck so we will see how they do.
My girlfriend will most likely run her dad's 7.3, and one of my friends will have his dump truck and his new to him semi.
It should be fun, I've been looking forward to it for about 11 months now.
im guna try to make it up dustin, hopefully have studs and some other goodies by then, maybe shoot a lil spray to it and see if that factory trans will blow chow
They throw in the diesels with the regular quaker state classes, if you wanna do some drag racing that day is a pretty good time, alot less people. Sunday is the huge bracket classes car show all that, so if you have to pick a day go sunday. Like i said the sled pulls are friday night, i would like to see some more people show up and pull. especially superstreet and street stock.
Hey Dustin, so the pulls are going to be at the county fair then on Friday night, or is it separate from the fair?
Do you have a link with the pulling rules and classes etc?
Do you know about if there will be a dyno there too? I know Shay was going to check into it but I hadn't heard anything about that.
I know last year there was the new deal of needing a turn up tip or stacks, but if you weren't a NHRDA racer and were just there for the day regular exhaust was ok. I'm assuming it is the same this year, does that sound correct?
The sled pulls are put on by NSPApulling.com They moved the truckfest pull to brighton on friday night, honestly i think it was a money thing, but thats fine, i think brighton usually has a great turn out, so it should be way cool... plus it will be under the lights instead of the heat like at bandimere years past.
Here is the link to the schedule, just follow the other links for the rules ect. NSPA SCHEDULE
As far as the turn downs the rules look identical to last year, you can risk not running turn ups but if you fog the lights bandimere isnt to blame, Probably not a bad idea to just get a 45 and point it up... alot of people in colorado have stacks.
I was hoping to but I don't think Tadd will have my truck done. I drop it off on the 30th. lol Was hoping to start experiencing the whole diesel competition thing but will have to be at another time.
No your right they dont i have been on them about the rules but no one has responded let me call them and tell them out of town pullers need the rules.
work stock is 2.5 inducer, im pretty sure dual oil pumps are allowed, 1 inch rear susp travel 26 inch hitch, pretty basic on the rules. Injectors dont matter.
