How are you guys running 5" turbo back single stack kits. I have a 06 F250 6.0L and i cant find anything but 4" and i want 5"? Let me know if you all have any ideas. Thanks.
I think he meant 5" TB exhaust with a 5" tip
You can get the stacks up to 12'' all day long.
Now, for your turbo back, all your gonna get is 4'' till you hit the stack itself. Im not a 6.0 guy and i don't know how big of piping you can go. But IIRC i think a 3.5" DP is the biggest your gonna get and 4" DP back is going to be all you need.
On Edit; like mentioned above. Chrome Stack Mafia will set you straight. Give em a call or click the link.
I have 4"downpipe into 5" running into my 6"stacks...all you need to do is get a 3.5 to 5 adaptor then a section of 5" running to where you do your 90 up into your bed...go to a trucking supply place for everything you need or even napa can get it all
Ya i was just want a 5" turbo back stack kit. Kind like the 5" turbo back exhaust kit but only in stack form. Is there alot of difference between 4" and 5", i heard 5" sounds better. Im wanting to also run a 8"x36" Black stack
Rollin Smoke Diesel. Exhaust
5in turbo back exhaust.I would be a 5in from the down pipe back.Go to your local big truck stop and they usually have a chrome shop.I bought my 5in chrome grand rock stack from my local one along with a 5in 45 elbow, stainless steel flex pipe, and a chrome peter bilt stack clamp to hold it to the top of the box for $120.But that was plumbing it into my stock exhaust so you would have to add that cost to your 5in complete kit. Then you could switch to regular exhaust if you got tired of the stack.
I should also add that all the stuff I got from the truck stop was grand rock parts except for the clamp. The guy looked up a single stack kit for me and his price was $650 with out a stack so I just built my own.
Ya i dont care about chrome because its going to be a black stack. Im not really wanting to buy a turbo back exhaust kit and turn it into a stack though. I will go to my local exhaust shop and see what they say.
