I bought a 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 to play with and for a 2nd truck that has a set of aftermarket 15" rims on it and some bald 35's.
I'm probably going to keep the 35's size wise and regear it to 4:11's to so it will be in the right gear range.
I'll be ordering a new set of ss m16's for it this week since I like the ones I put on my F250 and they are wearing great.
The rims that are on the dodge are ok looks wise but Im wondering if there would be an advantage to going up in rim size when I buy the tires?
Anyone ever heard of a reason to up the rim diameter when going to larger tires?
Figured if I gained something going with larger rims nows the time before ordering the tires
