I can buy stuff like a mofo but not so good on the selling... I am new to "selling" on Ebay... Was curious if anyone on here had such mad skillz with it you wanted to share? I would take any tips you got...
Post stuff for sale with pictures in the title. I forget what they call it, it costs a few cents more, but I got a lot better feed back of people looking when I had a picture that popped in the search
I have sold quite a bit. All I do is take about 5-10 photos of what I am selling and write up a really nice and descriptive bio on the item. I have sold everything I have ever listed, including a Ford Expedition for 24K.
What are you trying to sell? Post a pic or 2 and we can help with the write up and stuff. Also quality photography helps as well. Adds interest to the item.
Take your time with the description. If it's a truck part, do some research on what it will fit. Amazon.com has a great tool for that. Look up the part you have and look under the description for a link that says "display all models this item will fit" or something like that. The better your write-up, the more likely you sell it for what you want and the less likely folks will send you stupid questions.
Sell a few small things first. It's easy and you'll get the hang of it quick.
Well it is truck stuff right now... Just wondering... I have a engine posted right now and have had over a hundred views and a dozen people watching it. And no bids. I know it is a high dollar item and that might be causing people to hesitate plus hoping to snipe...
I have some other truck parts and items from my storage unit I would love to get rid of. If I have time to get the pictures, I will be listing more items before my free promotion ends. Just generally looking for good ideas - seems like use common sense and call it good...
