They use them to go 4x4 on the glaciers they have there as well as the 15-20 ft of snow they get. They also have some of the nastiest hill climbing competitions as the while island is volcanic. Not have any trees other than in towns takes some getting use to when looking at the landscape. They have more 4x4 shops per person up there then I bet anywhere in the world. That is the "thing" to do there. They do require flares to cover the tires over there so you will see a lot of custom made fiberglass on the trucks. Most average 38-42 but then you have the big boys. They usually do not lift them very high relative to tire size compared to here but rather go with cut out flares.
