Got a fluidamper I'm gonna put on this evening. Having a few cold ones while I wait for everything to cool off. Perfect evening! Anyway, figured I would check with you fellas to see y'all had some tricks to ease this thing along. Probably take a few pics along the way just to say I did. So.....y'all got anything or is it just that strait forward?
Stuck on the shrowd. Think I will have another one and try to remember how it comes out. You would think that for someone that has pulled his own motor a few times, he would remember STEP 1. LOLLOLLOL.
#1...it you didn't get new bolts stop now and wait untill you do. They are TTY bolts just like stock head bolts.
#2...unless they changed something slip the belt over the dampened before you bolt it on. Mine wouldn't fit...it was that close...but mine was the first production part they ever made compliments of Doug.
Oh yea...me and Allen are going to Dolen about noon-1 tomorrow to start fires and shoot sh!t if you're bored and wanna ride out.
Gonna take the kids and the 4 wheelers and just screw off for a few hours.
I went to the dealer to get them. Yea TTY. 60 ft/lbs then 90 deg. Or like I did, 60 then give it he'll. LOLLOL. Well, I'm hammered now , goin to bed. Truck runs nice and smooth. Worth a couple hours and a case of beer!!!
Do they utilize the factory key-way as well? I will be doing mine on a 7.3, I know I'm in the wrong place! LOL
