Torqued Up Diesel Repair
4711 South Valley Pike
Harrisonburg VA
$75 for 3 dyno pulls, gonna have some product reps on hand hopefully, as well as some grub, i was up there this weekend, and we were talking about having a 50/50 show + shine as well. I'll keep yall updated as things pull together.
I have a good feeling the strokes will be outnumbered, lets represent
Come on some of you MD WVA guys why not show up meet some folks.
There are the VA members I have contact with currently.
From 81 south - take exit 243, left on 11 south at light. You will pass blue ridge powersports on your left, cross over the hump and make a left at the big autobody repair sign. Follow the road to the end
From 81 north - take exit 240, make a left at the top of the ramp then a right on 11 north at light. You will pass rockingham county fairgrounds on your left, drive several hundred yards and make a right at the big autobody repair sign. Follow the road to the end.
Also another landmark where you will turn in is a brick building with a blue roof.
Hey guys ill try and make it there. Im getting my truck dynod the weekend before that in carlise PA at the all ford show. If it puts out some good numbers ill run it again.
I'd get there early if ur gonna dyno there also, you need to find out what kind of dyno it is n if they can dyno a diesel or not, all ford is a lot of muscle cars n most use a none load bearing meaning only accleration dyno, your numbers will be off n low cause it would load the truck n help spool the turbo.
I dynod it there last year it seemed about right. I have had my mustang dynod there also but the guy did set it up different for diesels several diesels run on it. Seemed to be in the ball park for both. But it would be nice to run on another one also to see how close they are. Either way hope to meet some of you guys there.
Hey fellas. Think I'll be there so far. My boy's probably gonna ride with me too. Wants to go to school for diesel tech so might as well break him in right.:evil
Yeah, we're both comin down. Already had the time off work for him, but since he doesn't want to deal with them he's all giddy about comin with me for this. AAHH, to be young again. Glad he didn't stray to far from the tree though, just a different field.
just a thought guys, if anyone wants something to do later on that day... say to grab some grub or something, my sister runs a pool hall in harrisonburg and would be happy to have us convoy over there!
sorry if i hadn't said any thing before, but i don't know when i have to work until one to two weeks ahead of time so i couldn't confirm..we have one guy here who works saturdays and takes off once every other month, i was hoping he would take off towards the end of the month but i was wrong..the saturday schedule is so freakin messed up. sorry guys..
Count me in. I looked for the shop, where this is taking place, & I think I found it. I couldnt find any signs anywhere to confirm this. Do you turn where the blue roof building is? This used to be a car lot. Shop at the end of this road?
