Took the stock grill, painted it white with royal metallic blue honeycomb and repainted everything behind the grill so it would "pop", i skipped the pictures of sanding and priming so don't think I didnt do it, haha.
It's off to get clear coated and baked on Monday then I'll take some pictures on the truck..
Not currently besides the same color LEDs in my gauges and HU, I plan on fabricating a custom blued steel 5" exhaust tip.
The blue meshes pretty well with the ultra-white LEDs (corners, cab, clearance, fender) and the 8K HIDs, all have a blueish tint to them.
I was going for clean and just wanted a hint of original detail to set it a part.
I think it will be different but still simple and clean which is what I'm going for.
Reading is fundimental, children. If you read the fine print it gives you all the wonderful details.Let's recap: stock grill equal ugly so I painted it white on Monday it goes to the body shop to be clear coated and baked then back on the truck. I only took the grill less pic to show how much better it looked with everything painted black. I hope this clears up the massive confusion.
I see that also now that you mention it. Might just be a lighting issue due to the camera, seen that before or perhaps it is off white. Painting looks good though.
wow so far ive seen a thread that had good intentions but got deraled by people that didnt either read the first few posts or have a huge crush(marty) on kendal.
anyways kendal that grill looks cool, i think that it will make that truck look 10% better now lol
She squated in the parking lot at Scheids because she didn't want anyone to be jelous of those 6/8th testicles downstairs!
