5th Wheel Question

So I have a rhetorically stupid question for you guys to ponder.

I have an 01 250 7.3 sitting on a Pro Comp 6.5" suspension kit riding on 16X8 wheels & 37" Xtreme All Terrains. Is there basically ANY fifth wheel out there that would allow me tow it at the height that I'm sitting at? Thanks in advance for answering a noob question.

The 5th wheel itself is adjustable but have to watch clearance with top of the box. Ive got a 4'' lift with 35s but had a 4'' lift put on my 5th wheel holiday trailer to level it off.

Im in the same boat, wondering the same thing. I do pull a gooseneck that has plenty of clearance. But some of the 5ers I looked at were just too short. IDK, maybe there are some taller ones out there??
I might get stuck pulling a TT:doh:

They do make an adapter to go from 5th wheel hitch to a gooseneck ball, it may be worth looking into.

My dad pulled a 5th wheel with a 4 inch and 37's. He had the place he bought it from put a lift on it for him. I think most trailer places will lift them for you.

I think they added a block on my dad's.

You can flip the axles and add a block, have some new ubolts made. If it's a toyhauler it will increase the angle of the ramp. I know someone that did that and you can hardle walk up the darn thing. He can't load his Harley cause it high centers at the top of the ramp. Also remember that you will be raising the center of gravity so be careful cornering and on windy roads and in the wind. The gooseneck adapter will not help you need to lift the trailer. Good luck.

I have Forest River Wildcat fifth wheel (31' model). It sits tall from the factory. It came with adjustable spring hangers to gain another 3". It rides on the truck about a degree or two nose down w/ my LT285s and the stock 4" rear blocks. Most lifted trucks have softer rear springs. When you put the 2500# pin weight on the hitch in the bed, it's going to drop your lift quite a bit more than a stock truck unless you install some bags to level it out.

Here's a shot of the spring hangers

Not all lifts are the same. my pro comp 4" had me add a rear leaf and doesnt sag at all, (like a wagon when unloaded)
