my relay for the blinker and brake lights clicks when your not turning or using the brakes. the clicking is spuratic and it can be just sitting in park and does it. you dont have to be turning the steering wheel also to hear it click. i changed the relay but it didn't help. any ideas?
03' sdcc . when your truck did the clicking where you using the blinker or anythink cuz mine does it all the time even when im not using anything and its just sitting and running.
Yeh only when I used the blinker.I would start checking for chafe or rats nest what have you.Electrical problems are a PITA.Wife's old 99 dually had some serious electrical issues.Got rid of that POS it was so problematic.
i had the exact same problem on my truck and after 2 weeks of looking i found the problem. There is a relay under the dash right behind the plug for where you would hook up a trailer brake controller that has 2 relays in it. I dont remember which one of the 2 it was but that was the problem. That relay works with the brake lights and turn signals. let me know if you need any more info.
