I hope you are joking Your truck doesn't have an injector pump, but if you mean your hpop may be weak then maybe you are on the right track. You could have a connector or hpop fitting headed south. Any loss of power or cel? Do you have a mechanical hpo gauge?
It could be a number of oil-related things, ipr included. The best thing would be to find a way to monitor hpo pressure when cranking, ae or a scanner will do it, but nothing is as good as a mechanical gauge. If you can rule out hpo that is half of the mystery solved.
Okay, sounds like my buddy at the Ford garage is going to check it out. My local dealer has two VERY good diesel guys. I'll let you know what the story is..
