Don't know if this is true of the ford trucks but with the cars if the TCS is off or disabled the ABS also won't work. Might want to look into that before pulling it out! I wrote a tune for a 04 mustang and I changed the TCS so it was always OFF and you had to hit the button to turn it ON. Maybe you can get a tune with it like that...
yeah, that would be more convenient but its still there. its off almost all the time but i only get traction on that one tire.
i shoulda asked to not have it when i bought the truck, damn it!
both tires will spin but the passenger side is the one with all the traction.
so if i were to light em up i would only get that power going to one tire mostly.
That is because of physics! When you punch it the axle twists under the force and puts less weight on one wheel versus the other. That is the reason the shocks go opposite ways on either side of the axle. They are trying to resist the twisting force.
