Ok so I have read a lot of posts about how good the zoomod is. I just did it to my truck and could not believe how easy it was to do. My question is a lot of pics I have seen people put some kind of screen. Is that needed? I just cut the hole and put the grill back on.

There talking about cutting in to the front header panel next to the radiator. To make a larger opening for the intake to pull air into. They call Zoodad. Dont know why its called that.

I didn't notice anything with mine, but it has to pull cooler air considering it goes from the grille strait into the intake.

Screened can't tell a difference but pulling cool air has to help.
