i have been thinkin, when my motor blows or if it makes it through next pullin season i would some-what build it. main studs, treated stock rods, 14.5:1 pistons, and filled block. i figure it wouldn cost much but should hold up alot better. what yall think? all i do w/ the truck is pull.

as far as the lower compression, it would help if you have a BIG turbo and LOTS of fuel. It just won't be too happy to start when it's cold.

Don't worry I think he has enough fuel :evil

And he has the best tuning out there :rockwoot:

I'm sure Nate will chime in and give ya some advice.

think it would work fine. i was planning on the same build. filled block (carrillo rods) etc... dont see why you would have any problems. would be a lot less $$$ with treated stock forged rods.
