I have a 96 powerstroke with the e4od transmission and i just finished repainting it etc and took it for a spin the yesterday and my truck went into limp mode now i have been told if i have to replace the tranny it has to be a 96 cause no others will work on that year is that true or do i have options.
still like to know if it is true you can't mate a 95 e4od to a 96 powerstroke or have i been told right that you can't put a different year tranny to a 96 7.3 engine!
can any of you guys tell me the difference between the starter circuts in an auto and a manual i am doing the swap and i heard this is a problem no cranking with the auto harness and manual trans HELP need diagrams
