yes I have.... it was a suprisingly easy swap. it will handle like a dream compared to stock Excursion crap suspension. Peadal effort is less and softer but brakes are awesome. I did mine with B-code rear leafs and 5,800 front stock coils. The 05-07 suspension will have bigger rotors and calipers, 35spl inners and outers, wider axle width, radius arm traction in the front. You will have to use bigger wheels though 17"+ with a different offset I'm using 05' King ranch wheels. All the holes in the frame are mostly there or need enlarged, you will need to ream the pitman arm taper larger or change to a new one. The trac bar bracket for the front need a few holes drilled in the frame, you will need new front shocks stem/eye style, a steering stabilizer for the front are some type of brackets I made mine, the factory one is crap and are known for death wobble. minor triming of the inner fender well plastic to make the coil towers fit. The rear toner ring I think it is different for the ABS and the sensor is different. I have to figure that one out on mine still so I have a ABS light now.
You can have a great ride without going to coils..change springs to SD V fronts and B code modded rears. Add a 30mm rear SD sway bar and correctly valved bilsteins. Will ride fantastic and you won't spend much to do it. I have helped many with this mod. Lots of posts on this. PM if I can help.
I originally did do the V-coded fronts and rear sway bar with Rancho 9000's, and it helped alot no doubt....but this setup is way better. I have to add in that the front driveshaft had to be shortened 1 1/4". Also the emergency brake cable linkages in the backing plate had to be changed to the older round hole type instead of the slot type so the cables won't fall out.... that may be different from year to year? I do have some v-codes available if anyone is interested $100 pm if interested

the V codes in the front will almost level a 7.3 Excursion, B-codes will raise the rear 1" roughly. Search "OBSWIS" I believe he has the ins and outs on making a hybrid B-code leaf pack . I used factory 06' F350 leaf pack minus overload with excursion lift blocks and u bolts. I handles weight in it and tows way better with the mods. I have the front springs you need in the classifieds....enjoy
so if i already have 2.5 lift\level kit up frt and i believe 3in blocks n the back ,will doing this screw my leveled excursion all up? i would love to get another .5 to 1in all the way around !! my tires rub just a touch here and there ,thanx for the info ,im checkin the classi's and ill let u know
Finally got a chance to measure the rear axles, stock 10.5 for
02 is 68 5/8" WMS to WMS
05 is 70 1/16 WMS to WMS
Caliper are definitely bigger, emergency brake cable are totally different but will match up to the very front part of the cable but you need to drill serveral holes for the cable hangers.
