I would say 20% is probably pretty close. I have 35% on the fronts and it is pretty close I think, but the light the windshield lets in seems to brighten up the front anyways.
hahah I dont have the best drivers license and not sure how strict Houston police are so I was leaning away from total blackout. Any of you have pictures from the side showing the diff between 5% and 20%. I see the point about the front window letting in the light.
My 2cents: Go 20 on doors and back,5%for a front visor about 4-5 in. down. Then from were that stops go 35% the rest of the way down. It will cut the glare off of headlights at night.:redspotdance:
I'd say 20% matches or at least it did on my Lightning. I remember having some 5% or so on a Chevy S10 years ago, you couldn't see nothing behind you. If your going that dark, find someone who has it and try they're vehicle out at night for a test. I'm not sure about tint laws there but 20% doesn't stick out as bad as 5% does.
well in most states they can't say chit about the windows rear of the driver...which is why I can't figure out for the life of me how I got a "correction notice" yesterday for not having a rearview mirror....you can't see through my tint on the back window, and I can drive better with two side mirrors than half of the people out there with all three...
