The third out of 4 events is being held this saturday night August 1st. Side by side drag racing, and sled pulling both street and modified classes for pulling. Also a show and shine. I know I will be there...
Well I am just going to watch and do show and shine, but I think tommy AKA hassler desiel will be there but I dont know if he is pulling or doing drags
Hell ya I will be there, hooking my 6.o in the mod class and draging my tow rig, any one heard any thing bout using 2 weight sleds??? I was talking with a few guys @ the NADM event up at Numeidia n the said that the Buck was going to use 2 sleds to keep the show moving???
which ever you prefer i guess, no just kidding 4x4 drag racing and unless they changed it in the last month. it is $10 per event. i did it their opening night
I see you keep pretty good track of what I do on here Dom.oke:
I might go down to watch. First I have to see what wife may have planned. Also I had set Sat. aside to work on mech. motor. If I have a full day tommorrow I can get intakes, exhaust and turbo piping all plumbed up.
well I going to make the trip! it looks like an 1 1/2 trip going to leave around 2 or 3
I hope to meet you guys! I dont have a PSN shirt so Ill look around for you guys
Well, since Aaron is pulling, just go to the pits and find the white CC LB
"sleeper" truck. We'll be there. I'm big and bald, Jeremy is big with short hair, and you've seen close-ups of Aaron. He'll probably be hard to recongnize clean.
Mark, just so you know, we always sit in the bleachers in the same spot. Pit side, just short of the finish line, second level. Jeremy (upinsmoke70) had a white PSN shirt on, Aaron was parked next to Justin (lil20bruski) in the pits, I had a black Jess Miller Machine shop T on. Sitting at the same spot was TJ (getblown5.9) he won the MOD class with the blue Dodge.
I saw a couple of guys with a Hassler shirts on, one was sitting near us for a while. Who was the guy that pulled with Hassler info on his back window?
Congratulations TJ, that truck flat out gets it done.
What's the word on Lilbruski? It looked like he tried to pull in 3rd and slipped the trans all the way down the track until she wouldn't go any more. He's quickly becoming the Dockboy of transmissions!
i was in second ...see ive pulled before in stock class and never had a problem and this was first time in mod so i figured that the weight slowed me down which is why i just kept going didnt think i was slipping till i didnt move at the end lolLOL man did i feel likea assointlaugh:
Well, I was a little disappointed in my pull last night. Operator error. I would have liked to make a little better showing for the Ford guys. I have always started in second gear and shift into drive. Last night when I shifted into drive I went straight to neutral than quickly back into drive. You can see my truck hop when it happpens. Has anybody else done this? Definately something I never want to do again. After watching the video, it seems like it stayed in 2nd the whole time. No ground speed. I wish I knew more about what happened, but it's like tunnel vision once I start the pull. I barely remember what the #### happened. I would like to congratulate Tj for an awsome pull again. That's one of the best pulling 2.8 trucks around. And very consistent. It definately puts on a good show. And best of luck to Justin. You'll get it fixed buddy. JUst give me a call and I'll give you a hand with that tranny. Awsome show guys.
