Yep, Found On Road Dead.
Went to O'Reilly's to get a battery for the wifes car, truck running like a top. On the way home, stopped at a light, idle was perfect, all of a sudden it died, just like you turned the key off.
Cylcled ignition crank like a bat out of hell, no fire.
Turned key off, pulled key out and threw on passenger side floorboard (did not want them anywhere near the ignition), reached down, cut zip ties, cut duct tape, pulled out chip.
Grabbed keys, same thing.
A Mexican pulled up and hooked me to a strap and pulled me off the road into a parking lot. Cool dude, I owe him a beer.
Did all the normal things.
No go.
No check engine light, no wait to start light, no fuel pump.
Checked and changed all fuses.
Swapped all relays with known good ones.
Swapped PCM with two known good ones.
Hooked up scanner, OBDII port is working, no communication with scanner.
Oh yeah, the very first thing I did was swap in a brand new CPS.
HELP.
