Pocket, is this something that I need to do now? I posted the results of the CCT, but I am not sure what they actually indicate. Does this injector need to be replaced right away, or is it just noise. I do not want to damage anything. I like your idea of finding someone with good cores. Thanks.
I have an injector (#4 I think) that's been hammering away for over 2 years now. It passes the CCT and the rotational velocity is only slightly higher than the others on that bank. But I haven't touched it, and nothing bad has happened (knock on wood).
Assuming you have a black CPS, swapping out the LL for the AD should get rid of the CCT failure and balance the engine out a bit. If the LL is the one knocking, then it should quiet things down some too.
I ordered up an injector from Dave at Swamps. I have heard many good things about them and the over the phone customer service was excellent.
