One of my buddies just got an excursion (7.3) and wants to run 26s. (not my style but whatever)
Is this safe? I looked at the service descriptions for 26" tires and the most is 2337lbs. per tire.
Let me know what you guys think. I don't think it is safe but I may be wrong.
I wouldnt for many reasons, safety being one of them. Excursions are HEAVY, especially if you put anything in the back or towing i can see it going all bad...
Go for whatcha know the hell with what people think. Just do it with as much taste as the situation will allow........Not for me but do it anyway...Hell I have an 8" lift and there is a guy in town with a chevelle boxed has more lift than my damn truck sitt'n on 28's bada bing bada boom........:gun:
I thought that's what they built F150's and Expeditions for.:evil
