Excursion on 26s

One of my buddies just got an excursion (7.3) and wants to run 26s. (not my style but whatever)
Is this safe? I looked at the service descriptions for 26" tires and the most is 2337lbs. per tire.
Let me know what you guys think. I don't think it is safe but I may be wrong.

Should be fine unless he wants to tow.

That would be retarded. Now is he running 26's with low pros or is he running Super Singles?

I meet a guy with a Dodge Dually Mega Cab that was having a custom set of 26' made for his truck. Don't think lowered would look good on an Ex.

super singles only come in 22.5" or you can cut them down to 22's

here is one of our customers on 22.5's super singles cut down to 22's



26's on an excursion can look good, I am a fan of big wheels though..

here is one on 26's they dont look god awful, they actually fit the fender well

Go for whatcha know the hell with what people think. Just do it with as much taste as the situation will allow........Not for me but do it anyway...Hell I have an 8" lift and there is a guy in town with a chevelle boxed has more lift than my damn truck sitt'n on 28's bada bing bada boom........:gun:
