LOL I was wandering how long it would take for some one to notice that. I put a jack under the back axel for that picture.
I did scale it out last time I pulled and it has close to 5000# on the front axel.
I have only tried it once and snuffed the turbo way early so I didn't get a good feel for it.
if I beef up my bracket a little, should I keep hanging this much or should I back off some??
it has 15 100# weights on it there, by the way.
Most 4x4 trucks built specifically for pulling (chassis and all) are weighted so that you can lift the rear end in the air with your hands. All the weight is on the front. The sled will give the rear end all the down pressure you need, and with the front wheels pulling, you can't get too heavy up there.
I havenyt had a good run on it with that much weight yet, so I'm not sure. I had been running about 800# and I could feel the front end comming up hard then.
