dropping the truck down

ok guys im thinking about dropping the truck down to 35 and maybe a 3 inch.

right now im on a 6" and 37's buts the problem is im geared with 4:30's so would i be running to high on the highway rpm's wise ect. or do yall think the truck would be ok?

also hoping to pick up some time in the 1/4 :evil

any input would help

Just got back from San Diego and got 13.7 out and back. That's at 8 over the posted limit (From 73 to 83).. 2800 RPM's on the higher speed. 4.30 gears are great for towing but bite for topend or mileage...

Very few around here can beat me across an intersection... :D

After that, I'm done!!

I'm thinking about going to a 265 to take some of the bite out of the 4.30's..

i was actually calculating it out last night and it is looking like its right at 4:06:1, so i might be in luck!

im sure once i get this transmission in there we will be able to have alot more fun ands see what #'s she can really put down chris! (if i ever find my sct) might have to take you up on that offer of getting a new one.
