Pull your filler neck, Drill a 3/4" hole in it. weld a steel fitting on to it and thread a barbed fitting into it. I used 3/8" hose IIRC, maybe even 1/4". Then your tank has a drain fitting and do the same thing there, only I added a Ball valve so I could turn it off if parked for a long time or if running red and I dont want to risk it.
BTW, I have done this on every pick up I have owned, the 95,97,99 and the 01. All the same way.
