I just installed the retro solutions headlight/fog light kit in the 06 f350. Headlights are great! Problem lies w/ the fog lights. When i have either the drivers side OR passengers side plugged in, that side works. It's when BOTH of them are plugged in, that the 10 amp mini fuse blows. Can the factory wiring not handle the load? How conservative is ford on their fuses? If i install a 15 amp mini fuse, will it fry the wiring?
That's what i think the problem is....but could it be something else?
the fog light kit doesnt come with a harness beecause it is just a regular low beam kit.
i had the same problem on my truck as im running 4 55w lights for my fogs, changed the fuses to 20 amps and would work a little better, than finally called my distributor and got a relay harness for each set.
Hey guys i am fixing to install some retro solutions 55w 5k HID headlights and fog lights what is the fog light relay that i need to insure that i dont have the same problem is this one i have found on thier web site
If you want or find you need a harness for a single beam kit, only one harness is needed to operate both sides.
