I got an older (new in box) BD X tuner for my 6.0
I have a problem though.
The tuner, when connected to the truck, will not do any thing.
It powers on, and comes up with a message:
"EC:VXCF4X3.HEX UNLOADED"
Ive tried getting on the BD Diesel website, to down load the latest and greatest file for the tuner.
IT DOES NOTHING.
My cpu just sits there, and the tuner never comes up with a screen that tells me its updating.
I have already downloaded the Microsoft Net fix.
Ive tried rebooting and every thing I know to get this BD X tuner to down load the information.
Im running the latest Windows XP.
HELP PLEASE?

Try calling BD to see if there was any recalls on that tuner. Maybe there is a glitch in the tuning software. Also on another note, Is the odbII working right, is it possible the PCM has issues?

OBD port is working right. Verified with another tuner box.

This box here won't accept the down load & update off the website.

It just sits there and does nothing.

Well I got the tuner to update this morning.

BD doesn't tell you that you MUST run Microsoft Internet Explorer, and NOT Firefox.

Any who, the tuner box still refuses to do any thing once plugged into the truck.

It comes up with the BD Diesel screen, and then does nothing.

Im supposed to get a "Warranty / Service" agreement box and all I get is the BD Diesel Logo and box version number.

HELP?
